What (Information from 2023): Back for its seventh year, Vancouver's one-of-a-kind Weirdos Holiday Market is the perfect place to find artsy, highly original gifts for that person on your pressie list who thinks they have everything. Featuring the unique work of 50 brilliantly curated artists and artisans, expect to find unusual, intriguing and sometimes outrageous items on the tables here––ranging from dolls head planters to upcyled vintage lamps and from witchy blown glass pieces to artwork fashioned from discarded wasps nests. But hanging out with the Weirdos isn't just about cool shopping; there will also be tarot card readings, live sword-swallowing and photos with the one and only Puppyteeth Santa. Hungry? Check out the delicious treats from Punk Rock Pastries and the newly-launched Midnight Joe's food truck with its Twin Peaks vibe. There will also be two Friday evening markets for adults-only––perfect for a great, slightly naughty night out. And don't miss this year's new feature: the WeirDogs Costume Contest, where you can dress up your pooch for a cool photo op and enter to win a gift basket of treats!
