What (Information from 2024): A two-minute stroll from Lonsdale Quay's SeaBus terminal, it couldn't be easier to reach North Van's waterfront Polygon Gallery. And while there are lots of intriguing exhibitions to peruse here throughout the year, dropping by during the festive season means the chance to check out its brilliantly curated annual Holiday Shop, located in the sparklingly decorated main floor area. Showcasing a unique array of gift ideas and stocking stuffers created by independent artists and artisans, you'll find everything here from candles to ceramics and from chocolate to skincare products. But that's not all: during the Shop's multi-week run, the gallery is also scheduling a fun-tastic selection of weekly workshops and interactive activities, ranging from beading to flower arranging; from wreath-making to a dance class; and from a pop-up tattoo parlour to vintage photography sessions––including a special pet photography day!
